PAC-MAN Poster 60x40 EXCLUSIVE DESIGN
PAC-MAN 35th Anniversary - Poster 60 X 40- Exclusive Design by Matt Needle Matt Is A Cardiff Based Freelance Designer & Illustrator, focused on branding, editorial Illustration and Film Poster design. He has illustrated work all around the world (most recently as part of an official Marvel Avengers Age Of Ultron Show in LA) My Story With Pac-Man: When i was a child i would visit my grandparents holiday home in wales in the summer, there would be an arcade just down the street which had this old Pac-man game table (its still there now some 20 years later). i spent hours (and years) playing on this and becoming obsessed. This is a childhood memory for some reason has stuck with me all these years, it was one of the first games i ever truly got drawn into(and i still play it now and again (on or via google) Explanation of piece: I went through a few ideas when i first received this brief. When i finally had a brainwave and decided to mash up one of my other favorite pop culture things from the 1980s, the Ghost-Busters. It works so well on a couple of levels as Pac-Man is kind of an original Ghost-buster. From there i played around with ideas and thought it would kind of cool if Pac-Man was actually a vehicle used to chase down and capture ghosts.
